Our House!

Our house is slowly coming together! We are scheduled to close by next week!!! It's been quite the process and there has been problem after problem. We went out there last night to check on the progress and our entire place was carpeted...with the wrong carpet. Even with this mistake they are still planning on fixing it in time to close next week. We're sure excited to be able to move in!!

Best Buds!

Kyle and his cousin, Mya, are best friends. They are watching "Cars" together. Kyle asks to play with Mya and her sister Kaylee everyday, and sometimes several times a day. Luckily at our townhouse they will only live 1 block away!

The video below is Kyle playing another one of his tricks. I don't know where he comes up with these tricks, but he's always teasing and tricking us. The video is pretty hard to see, but he's acting like he's going to kiss me but he has water in his mouth and he squirts some out as he gets up to my face. Some of his other tricks consist of steeling someone's chair as soon as they get up, offering people a bite of his food and taking it away right as their about to eat it, and saying, "Let's go Mommy!" and as I start to go to him he shuts the door as fast as he can. Every time he pulls a prank he laughs hysterically - and that makes it even funnier. I really don't know how he thinks of these things, but he sure keeps us laughing!

Kyle helped Christian stain the banister. He wants to be just like Christian!

It's kind of hard to see, but this is what the outside of our house looks like now. We basically have all of the painting finished. It was a huge project and I'm glad it's over, besides minor touch-ups. We also now have our cupboards in. We were scheduled to have our counter tops, lighting, and carpet this week, but none of it happened (surprise, surprise). They are still telling us November 1. We sure hope so!

She is finally here!!!

Hey everyone--just wanted to put a few pictures up so everyone could see our new little girl! Her name is Brooklyn Mae Nye. We just liked the name Brooklyn, and Mae is named after Delores Mae Himmerich, Brooklyn's great-grandmother on Julie's side. Julie will add more details and pictures soon!
